Originally released as one of four Specialty shapes in 1945, this Calabash is among our smallest, most lightweight designs, forgoing the robust, muscular aesthetic that defines so much of our House Style in favour of a curling, slightly flared Dublin-like bowl and elegant, tapering lines.

The Specialty Ebony Silver Mounted series elevates our range of lightweight, elegant Specialty shapes through a rich, dark, dress finish and bright sterling silver fitments, applied by the expert hands our most talented silversmiths.

Something of a departure from the stout, muscular aesthetic that characterizes so much of our portfolio, the Specialty line contains a number of our more petite, lightweight shapes such as the Barrel, Tankard, Calabash, and Belgique. It was created in 1945 and remains a popular range to this date.
