About The Shape
Originally designed for the Danish market, this shape boasts a more slender and fluid form than many of our traditional designs, featuring a tall, slightly tapered and canted Dublin bowl as well as a sweeping transition that carries gracefully into the shank.
About The Series
Recently revived from our archives, the Deluxe Classic series pays tribute to our history and tradition as the oldest continuously operating briar pipe factory in the world by presenting a range of our most popular non-System shapes in three of our most prestigious finishes. Each pipe in the series features an extra-wide, sterling silver band applied by the hands of our most experienced silversmiths for a distinctively retro aesthetic reminiscent of early Patent-era Peterson pipes. Here in the Terracotta finish, a rich, ruby-tinged stain enhances this traditional series, evoking the look of vintage pipes from the early 1900s.
About The Range
Representing the pinnacle of our regular production, our High Grade designation is reserved for only the very best pipes to leave our factory. Each pipe in this range is distinguished by its plentiful grain, either smooth or sandblasted, and expert metal fitments, shaped and applied by the hands of our most experienced craftsmen. Our silversmiths are among the most talented in the world, having undergone traditional five-to-eight-year apprenticeships under a senior craftsman; each smith has engineered his own mandrel, meaning that every metal fitment is imprinted with the subtle, personal style of the one who machined it.
