Originally designed for the Danish market, this shape boasts a more slender and fluid form than many of our traditional designs, featuring a tall, slightly tapered and canted Dublin bowl as well as a sweeping transition that carries gracefully into the shank.

Like any other wood or organic material, briar often presents a certain degree of color variation and natural flaws. For our new Barley Spigot line, however, we wanted to showcase the natural color and texture of virgin, sandblasted briar with as few of these natural imperfections as possible. All the bowls for this series were hand-selected at our factory for their cleanliness and consistency, resulting in a true tanblast that reveals the wood's natural patterns in crisp relief without any additional staining. Given their virgin finishes, these pipes will continue to darken and patinate over time, and are further elevated by our handcrafted sterling silver bubble spigots and traditional black acrylic stems.

Representing the pinnacle of our regular production, our High Grade designation is reserved for only the very best pipes to leave our factory. Each pipe in this range is distinguished by its plentiful grain, either smooth or sandblasted, and expert metal fitments, shaped and applied by the hands of our most experienced craftsmen. Our silversmiths are among the most talented in the world, having undergone traditional five-to-eight-year apprenticeships under a senior craftsman; each smith has engineered his own mandrel, meaning that every metal fitment is imprinted with the subtle, personal style of the one who machined it.
