St. Patrick's Day 2023 Sandblasted (XL17) Fishtail (9mm)
About The Shape
Originally released as part of our Original Sherlock Holmes collection (1989-1991), this fully bent Rhodesian was designed by our senior craftsman Paddy Larrigan from a sketch made by our dear friend Mario Lubinski. A hybridised shape, it combines elements of the Oom Paul and Calabash and serves as a partner to the extra large, trumpeting Calabash of the Original, designed by Paddy in 1987.
About The Series
Since 1998, we've released an annual special edition St. Patrick's Day line, presenting a number of our most popular shapes in a festive, distinctly Irish finish unique to the year. Our 2023 edition celebrates the 25th anniversary of the special-edition line with an homage to the very first St. Patrick's Day pipe. This year's edition presents our beloved Classic Range shapes in a crisp Sandblasted finish, topped by the same accent of brass and tri-coloured acrylic that dressed our very first edition.
About The Range
In addition to our regular production ranges, we also offer a number of limited-edition series unique to each year. These lines celebrate our rich history and tradition of craftsmanship, often looking to the past in order to innovate for tomorrow. From our annual Saint Patrick's Day and Christmas Pipe series to our singular Pipe of the Year models, these pieces are crafted for true Peterson collectors and enthusiasts.
