The River Suir (Irish: An tSiúr) is a river in the southern par of Ireland. It flows through Cahir, Clonmel and Carrick-on-Suir before it reaches its destination in Waterford. The river is connected with the River Barrow and Nore. The three rivers are called “The Three Sisters”. As indeed is the lighthouse situated on the peninsula of Hook Head. The lighthouse is the oldest one in Europe. The river is 183 km (114 miles) long.
